Tank Commander is designed so anyone comfortable with a smart plug can install it. Here's the exact sequence — print this page or follow along in the app.

1. 01

   Mount the controller

   Mount above the waterline. Plug into a GFCI-protected wall outlet.

2. 02

   Place the probes

   Drop temperature, pH, and salinity probes in the sump or display. Secure the leak probe on the floor.

3. 03

   Pair Wi-Fi

   Open the app and follow the on-device QR pairing flow.

4. 04

   Calibrate pH

   Run the two-point calibration with the included solutions.

5. 05

   Assign outlets

   Label each outlet and pick a control profile (always-on, scheduled, parameter-driven).

6. 06

   Test alerts

   Tap 'Send test alert' to verify push notifications arrive.
